A thoughtful refresh that proves good design doesn’t have to start with a blank slate.
Located in Downtown St. Petersburg, this small law office came to us ready for a full refresh. The existing space felt dated, cluttered, and visually heavy, with dark, oversized furnishings throughout. With a modest furnishing budget, the challenge was to create a more polished, welcoming, and functional office without completely starting over.
The solution was rooted in editing, repurposing, and thoughtful layering.
The result: a refined law office designed to feel professional, approachable, and ready for what’s next.
We reimagined the entry and reception area, transforming an existing sofa into new reception seating and creating a more intentional focal point with custom-framed company signage and a picture light. Throughout the office, greenery, accessories, and carefully selected furnishings were introduced to soften the space and bring new life to the existing architecture.
The client beverage station was re-envisioned with a new fluted wood beverage cabinet, providing dedicated storage for coffee and water supplies while creating a more inviting experience for clients and guests.
In the conference room, a new area rug grounds the space and adds warmth and visual definition. We also added custom-drilled electrical outlets directly into the conference table, bringing convenient power access to the meeting space.
By removing what wasn’t working, repurposing what could be saved, and introducing a few high-impact pieces, the office became lighter, more functional, and considerably more welcoming—while staying mindful of the client’s budget.
